8. Ivy the Cat

Bio: Ivy's known as the the second most popular member of Smitten Kitten and the second most richest. She's a pure socialite who mostly hangs out with popular students. She plays the horn for the band.

Ivy was born in a rich household as the third child and youngest child. Her parents expected her to measure up to her older siblings. The cat didn't at first - she was still looking for something that had interested her. When she was in middle school she found out what she was talented at the French Horn - among other brass instruments. She finally found what she was really good at and wanted to do. But life became harder for the tabby cat after that point. Her parents tried to exploit the young cat's talents and they eventually did. Ivy discovered why they wanted her to measure up to her siblings and why her siblings left as soon as they did. As soon as she turned 16, she left their home - never to return. She still keeps in contact with her two siblings, but she needed someone to live with. She moved in with her wealthy, lonely aunt who happily accepted her into her home. Her aunt treats Ivy like the daughter she never had.

Ivy eventually met up with the band Smitten Kitten and offered to be their trumpeter. Though, they sometimes get her to play the French horn for them when they need her to. She treats the band as her second family, since they never exploited her like her parents did. She mostly hangs around certain Poppies and popular students, but will also talk to some not-so popular students as well. She will not hang around less popular and unpopular students - not because she hates or dislikes them, but because she worries about her reputation.

9. Mercy the Cat
Name: Mary 'Mercy' Bell

Bio: A laid back, calm, collective and friendly cat. Mercy is the least popular member of the band because of how and where she was raised. She is the band's drummer.

Mercy, born as Mary, was born into a poor family. She's the oldest child out of one other sibling - her younger brother. Her mother was a housewife while her father is a constructor. Her mother wanted to raise Mary as a housewife just like her, but Mary was much more tomboyish than her mother wanted. Mary's mother made her husband show Mary that men have more dangerous jobs then women. Mary's father thought it was crazy taking her daughter to some place as dangerous as his work place. He lied to his wife and took Mary to a bar with a small band instead. Mary was enamored by the drummer in the band, but even more enamored with the drums. She practiced at home with pots and pans. It frustrated her mother to no end, but her father thought it was cute and hilarious - up until Mary became a teenager. Her father was a little confused by her interest in drumming - thinking that most women dream of being mothers instead, but continued to support his daughter anyway. Mary's mother eventually had to get a job and became a waitress, while her father finally got a promotion. On her 16th birthday, her parents surprised her with an old, beat up drum kit they found on the cheap. Mary herself got a part time job for a short while so she could fix it up her drum kit.

After a while, she discovered the band had auditions for a drummer. She beat her competition and became a member of the band. Mercy isn't as popular as other members of the band and often wonder why - outside of her talent - she was allowed into the band. But all the members - except Dalia - respect her and she treats them like the sisters she never had. She spends time with Angel the most - protecting her from the more petty unpopular and popular students.

10. Melody the Cat
Name: Marissa 'Melody' Joyce

Relationship Status: Single
Bio: Melody is the most popular member of the band Smitten Kitten, as well as the most richest member. She's an extreme social butterfly who usually only hangs around people just as rich as her, but still respects her bandmates. She's the band's cellist.

Marissa was born as an only child in her household. Her mother and father are exceedingly rich and they spoiled her for a short period of time until they stopped. She got angry at them, but they would not budge - not even for their youngest daughter. Marissa ran away from home at a young age, but quickly returned home once she discovered what the world was like outside her home - especially what it was like in the city. Her parents promised to give her whatever she wanted when she returned home, but she refused. She felt bad for being rich and promised she'd do something with her life. During her time when she ran away, she met an old man. The old man used to play for Carnegie Hall when he was younger, but as he grew older he couldn't play anymore. The man eventually got too poor and had to own a rundown apartment in his retirement. After meeting him that day, she continued to visit him daily - always bringing him food and money attempted to refuse, but he needed these necessities desperately. So in return for money and food, the man taught her how to play the cello like he did in his youth. Marissa continued to visit him up until the day he died. Marissa was very upset by his passing, Marissa continued to play the cello in his honor.

Marissa, who renamed herself Melody, joined up with the band Smitten Kitten - who were debating if the needed another violinist and a cellist. They eventually found Melody through a flyer giving violin and cello lessons. She agreed to join the band and help them - hoping to inspire others to become cellist and violinists. Due to being really rich, she spends a lot of time around the more richer students at the DHS, but respects the poorer and middle class students - such as her bandmates and others.
